Stage 1
Puppy Preschool
Puppys 9 - 16 Weeks
Puppy Preschool is essential in setting your puppy up with skills for life.
At Paws Plus our motto is fun while learning with new friends.
We understand that this can be a stressful time where new pet parents are often overwhelmed with information.
In our school we break it down, keep it simple and guarantee laughs!
Pups will not only learn basic behaviors, but ensure they learn to socialise responsibly while also being able to practice calm around other dogs.
We use the latest force free science based methods and all classes are taught by a certified and qualified trainer.
Our course is 4 &1/4 hours run over 3 consecutive weeks and includes a 15 min individual phone consultation to be used from the time of booking and up to 6 months post graduation.
Paws Plus Puppy Preschool is run with a minimum 2 staff so you feel supported and empowered as you begin your training journey with your new puppy.
You will receive a puppy pack with course notes, samples of products we recommend and discount vouchers valued at over $50.

At Puppy Primary we will be building on skills learnt at Preschool.

Given Puppy Primary is limited to 3 human canine teams, it is a personalised approach to be sure to maximise learning and solidify behaviours over the course. We work together to reach everyone's goals and customise as needed.
All pups must be fully vaccinated to attend.
This course is not appropriate for reactive dogs, for this we recommend an in home consultation.

Fast Track
Missed Puppy Pre-Scool but would like to attend Primary School. We have you covered with our Fast Track Sessions
Our Fast Track training session is a 1 on 1 session for those that missed Puppy Preschool. Designed specifically to get you ready for Primary School ready.
A 1 on 1 session with Ally, where we get your mechanics and communication skills up to speed so your canine has a thorough understanding of the basics.
We give you time to practice then we fast track you straight to Puppy Primary School.
These sessions are also available to customise to individual needs.
Sessions run for 45 mins and are held at IPET Store Kirrawee.

In-Home Consultations

In home behaviour consultations are tailored to suit individual family and dog needs.

Have a new pup and want to get started straight away, or do you need a refresher?
This 16-week Puppy Preschool Online Masterclass provides all the essentials to equip your puppy with lifelong skills. It’s self-paced, allowing you to train your pup at your convenience.
You can do the course at your own pace -while some people may complete it in a day you have access to the course for 16 weeks from the date of purchase.

Urban Paws
Mastering Urban Environments
In this 3 hour course we build on skills learnt at Puppy Primary working in and around shopping centres and cafés.
We will be working on loose leash walking in busy environments, maintaining engagement with our human, polite passings and café etiquette.
Participants must have graduated from Puppy Primary to join this course.
Cost: $199
Course is 1 hr per week for 3 consecutive weeks.
Puppy
Play Group
Concerned about your pup's social skills or lack of?
Puppy Playgroup is perfect for puppies between 10-20 weeks who are still learning how to communicate and read body language. Skills that are so important before they venture out into the big world.
Puppy Playgroup is the perfect follow on from Puppy School or for those that were not able to attend preschool.
Puppies are selected and grouped accordingly to ensure imperative skills are learnt and confidence is built.
Small groups ( max 3 - 1 trainer or 6 -1 trainer 1 Animal Assistant) ensure your pup gets the most out of every session without it being overwhelming. Playgroup is drop off and pick up held at IPET STORE KIRRAWEE with ample parking and shopping and restaurants galore right across the road at South Village.
We do attempt to share photos and videos however this is not guaranteed as priority is placed on developing social skills.
Every few weeks you will receive a report card to get an understanding of how your fur baby is going and areas that need to be worked on.
Playgroup Session Times:
POP UP SESSIONS FROM 5.30pm weeknights.

Lunch
and Learn
Are you a vet clinic, grooming salon or a pet friendly office wanting to learn more about positive training?
You may be wanting to incorporate more up to date methods into your clinic, help new staff gain a better understanding or just have a calmer and more productive office on ' bring your pet to work day'.
Paws Plus is excited to now offer Lunch and Learns.
We want to give back to the community and spread the word on positive training!
We bring your team lunch and give a 20 min presentation on the benefits of training with positive reinforcement. Cost to your business.... none, benefits to dogs in our community... priceless!

Fill out the questionnaire on booking and bring your dog in so they can try before you buy. If you don't have your dog yet, no problem, we will give you plenty of samples and advise what is best for your breed.
Session is 30 mins at IPET STORE & includes a tasting plate and pupachino for your canine & coffee for the human.
