Puppy School Educator

Ryan has been training world class Guide Dogs for the past 8 years using only positive reinforcement methods.

He specialises in not only training the dogs but also working with handlers teaching them the skills needed to operate a guide dog as a mobility aid.

Ryan’s drive to make a difference to how humans understand dogs better along with his patience and ability to communicate this on so many platforms is what sees him being so highly respected in the industry and seen him appear on TV networks across NSW.

Ryan brings a sense of fun to his sessions and as with all our classes, laughs and new friends are guaranteed!

If he is not  hanging out with a 4 legged canine you will find him off on a long cycle or creating memories with his young family.

Chief Puppy Cuddler & Snack Leader

The lovely Amber has been with Paws Plus from the beginning.

Amber holds a degree in psychology and is a support worker along with her role with Paws Plus.

Amber has a kind gentle nature and the puppies just adore her!

You will see her around at Puppy School where she is on hand to take your pup for you during talk time or if they need a walk around the store to reset with a fun game during learning time.

Amber is also out the back at every playgroup helping puppies learn those important foundation skills.

Amber loves the fact that Paws Plus allows her to gain a deeper understanding of canine cognition and study the humans canine bond.

Outside of work, study and dogs Amber loves an ocean swim, a day out on a coastal drive and collecting vintage jewellery.

Puppy Settler and Fun Coordinator

Rose is a bright bubbly high school student with a love of all creatures but in particular, canines.

You will see Rose around at Puppy School on hand to take your pup off for a walk around the store when either you or your pup are needing a break and helps out at Playgroup.

Roses kind and warm disposition has all puppies feeling at ease. She has an amazing connection with them and is brilliant at reading canine body language.

Outside of school and Paws Plus, Rose loves ballet and is a volunteer for Taronga Zoo. The dedication and commitment to even getting to the initial orientation at the zoo is one to be admired, let alone the travel to and from.

Rose now has regular shifts at the zoo on weekends and in the holidays.
We love having her inquisitive and bubbly personality around we love helping her learn more about dog science and the benefits of positive training.

Puppy Comforter and Head of Games

Charlie is our newest member of the Paws Plus team and is following in the footsteps of Rose and Amber.

A high school student who is passionate about animals and is currently completing her Cert II in Animal Studies spending a day a week at Taronga Zoo.

Charlie is on hand at our group classes to help settle your puppy or give extra cuddles if they are feeling in any way overwhelmed.

Seeing the puppies relax in Charlies arms saw her be hired in a heart

beat and we love that our 4 legged clients love having her around as much as we do.

In her spare time Charlie loves going to the gym, playing soccer for her local club and if she is not hanging with a cute canine, you will find her on the back of a horse.
